Here you will find small, fine handicrafts that a women's cooperative produces for us. 50% of every sale goes back to Moroccan girls and women.
In women's cooperatives, women earn their own money and help free them from men's dependence and/or their poverty. By joining forces, they can better pursue their goals and support each other.
For example, they purchase machines that make their hard work in the fields easier. Women can also use the money to gain access to further training or medical care. The cooperative is also something like its own bank and insurance company.
